Today, as the first batch of pilgrims entered the Kashmir Valley to begin their sacred journey to the Amarnath cave shrine, a familiar spirit returned to the mountains - a spirit of shared faith, community warmth, and unshaken tradition.

This year's Amarnath Yatra 2025 is not just a spiritual passage through snow-capped trails and high-altitude camps - it is once again a reaffirmation of the age-old Kashmiri value: 'Mehmaan Nawazi' (hospitality).

Thousands of yatris from across India have started making their way through Pahalgam and Baltal, and like every year, they are being greeted with smiles, kehwa, service, and prayers by the people of Kashmir - people who don't just guide the route, but uplift the entire pilgrimage through heartfelt care.

What is striking year after year is that Kashmir doesn't just welcome pilgrims - it walks with them.
