'We are praying we find out what happened to Donna before anything happens to us'

|The Gazette
THE heartbroken parents of a murdered Middlesbrough girl spoke of their "everlasting misery" as they continue to fight for justice.
Donna Keogh disappeared on April 19, 1998 after visiting a house in Bow Street, and it is believed the 17-year-old was murdered shortly after.
Her killer or killers still remain at large and her body has never been found.
Each year, her mum and dad Brian and Shirley appeal to the public for help in finding their girl and those responsible for cutting her life so tragically short.
Life has never been the same, they said, describing the past 27 years as "interminable, everlasting misery".
In 2018, the inquiry was relaunched by Cleveland Police's Historic Investigations Unit under the name Operation Resolute.
The force previously admitted mistakes were made in the initial investigation into Donna's death and issued a public apology.
Four men were said to be at the house in Gresham on the night Donna was last seen, and Brian has always believed the investigation should have focused around that gathering.
As previously reported, they have ongoing "frustrations" and complaints in respect of the initial inquiry.
"It took 24 years to interview one of these men who was with Donna in Bow Street," said Brian.
"Since then statements have gone missing, and embellished stories were put out to the public about her being seen down in London, Piccadilly and Leeds," he said.
"The police knew she was with these men in Bow Street right at the beginning. They have never tried to explain why this inquiry went so wrong."
