Unbeaten run goes on for Marton

MARTON maintained their unbeaten start to the season with victory at Norton.
Ryan Gibson fired 58, Muhammad Irfan 34, Paul Vaughan 37 and then Tom Miller smashed 87 from 73 balls, while Norton's James Minto claimed 3-66, in Marton’s hefty final total of 321-8.
Norton were then set a revised D/L target of 231 from 28 overs. James Minto (67), Thomas Cross (41) and Luke Symington (37) got them off to a flyer, but Marton’s Sam Berry (5-51) and Muhammad Irfan (4-41) fought back and the home side were all out for 205.
