Transport upgrades for three areas proposed

PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS TO BE HELD OVER MEASURES

THREE areas in Teesside could have new traffic measures added to help make the roads safer.

Tees Valley Combined Authority is carrying out public consultations on the proposals, which would bring in new traffic measures in three locations.

Stainton in Coulby Newham, Green Lane in Middlesbrough and Wolviston to Cowpen Bewley are the three locations that could be changed, with residents being asked to help shape the upgrades.

On Stainton Way it’s proposed that connections between King’s Academy School and the Parkway Centre would be improved, including new traffic signals at the junction of Stainton Way and Dalby Way and a new two-way wider and safer walking, wheeling and cycling route from King’s Academy to Dalby Way.
