JORDAN Hogg's Middlesbrough home was left with blood dripping down the living room door, a forensic scientist has told a murder trial.
Jordan Hogg, 28, died following an incident on Fonteyn Court, Hemlington in February. Right, a crime scene investigator at Fonteyn Court
The ground-floor flat, on Fonteyn Court, Hemlington, had blood stains on the white walls, outside the bathroom and in the small hallway.
A velvet silver sofa in the living room had extensive blood staining on it; and there was a trail of blood from Mr Hogg’s front door.
Yesterday, forensic scientist Michelle Walton told the jury at Newcastle Crown Court that the blood trail “went back towards Earls Court Road, over the fence, and onto the path towards a home on Ellis Gardens.”
Giving evidence to a packed courtroom, Ms Walton said that the blood staining was in keeping with the CCTV footage that the jury has previously watched.
It showed Mr Hogg, 28, walking across an alleyway to his neighbour’s house.
