Member of flatbed lorries ram-raids gang jailed for year

ONE of a gang of burglars who rammed two flatbed lorries through a security barrier has been jailed.
JD Sports on Cleveland Retail Park was one of the buildings targted during the gang's rampage
Nathan Smith and three other men broke into Middlesbrough Council's Cargo Fleet Lane depot.
The four burglars wore gloves and kept their hoods up as they ransacked offices and tried the doors to storage units. CCTV captured the gang's three-hour rampage on the night of August 18.
Teesside Crown Court has heard that Smith, 35, could be seen walking around the back of a bike storage area and starting a fire.
Two flatbed lorries smashed through the security barrier at 1.25am.
