Marton victory keeps title hopes alive

MARTON had an easy win at Saltburn by eight wickets to maintain their title hopes.

The Seasiders decided to bat first and were all out for a paltry 58, with Alex Wardell taking an excellent 5-29 and Muhammad Irfan 5-25.
The visitors soon knocked off the required runs to win on 60-7
Stokesley had opener WJ Weighell make 49 and Jason Erskine 33, while Harry Harding scored 40, as they posted 184 all out at Barnard Castle, with Finn Usher claiming 4-59.
Barney started brightly with opener James Clarkson scoring 56, Karl Carver 30 and James Quinn 43 not out to see them home on 185-4.
