Luxury travel firm puts women in driving seat

A FEMALE-FOCUSED chauffeur service is seeking women drivers to join the company.

Eagle Chauffeuring, based in Thornaby, hopes to help women enter the private hire industry by offering full training, licensing support and access to its fleet of luxury vehicles.

The women drivers will serve female passengers in an initiative that is part of the firm’s wider expansion plans.

Operating across Teesside, Durham and Newcastle, the company was founded by Babar Malik, who revived the Eagle brand once associated with his dad.

Mr Malik, said: “There's a real gap in the market, not just for luxury travel, but for women who want to work in a way that fits around their lives.

“We're giving women the opportunity to get started with a flexible career and the tools they need to succeed.”
