PRESTON North End boss Paul Heckingbottom questioned the validity of Middlesbrough's second equaliser, as he revealed goal-line technology was not in operation at Deepdale.

Boro twice came from behind to earn a point and keep their unbeaten start to the season going.
Goal-line technology was not working during the game after a pre-match technical fault forced it to be switched off. But replays look inconclusive on both whether the ball crossed the line or not, and also whether Alan Browne got a touch as it went in, after Sontje Hansen's initial acrobatic effort was only half-saved by Daniel Iversen. Hansen is officially credited as the scorer.
