Experienced signings key for Edwards

ROB Edwards says he was delighted that Middlesbrough showed flexibility in their transfer approach this summer in order to add some seasoned, Championship-ready players.

While the club do a lot of their recruitment work overseas where they often find far better value for money, that can cause initial teething issues as players adapt to a new country and a new league. Those kinds of signings still came in the summer in the form of players such as Abdoulaye Kante, Sontje Hansen and Kaly Sene.
