'Drug mule' accused is caught 'trying to flee US'

A MIDDLESBROUGH beautician who faces jail after allegedly smuggling 43kg of cocaine into the US is back behind bars after supposedly trying to leave the country.

Kim Hall was stopped at O'Hare Airport, Chicago, in August, last year, when she was due to get on her connecting flight home to Manchester. Homeland Security investigators detained the now 29-year-old, who had arrived into the US from Mexico, after allegedly discovering cocaine packed in two suitcases.
