HAVE you tried turning it on and off again? The IT Crowd were offering their pearls of computer wisdom 20 years ago when the comedy launched on Channel 4 in February 2006.

It saw Jen (Katherine Parkinson) banished from the ivory towers of Reynholm Industries to join the IT crowd lurking below ground and avoiding work and social contact in equal measure.

Jen found herself head of the IT department, but knows nothing about the online world, even though she lied on her CV that she had a lot of experience with computers ... mainly writing and receiving emails.
