Community hub staff 'devastated' by cruel burglary

A CENTRE supporting local families in Lingdale was targeted in a cruel burglary, but staff say they won't be beaten.
Pictures show the damage caused to the hub in the burglary
The hooded burglar was caught on camera hurling a brick through an arch window at The Lingdale Tavern Community Hub, just before 1am on Tuesday, December 16.
He was then seen running into the cafe area, knocking over a Christmas tree and grabbing the till before making off. Cleveland Police has been informed and an officer attended the Stanghow Road venue.
The hub provides a variety of services, including the coffee shop, pub, educational workshops, programmes and a variety of activities for all ages. It was designed to support local people and make a positive difference to the community.
