'Boro will always be part of me': Dijksteel breaks silence on exit
July 30, 2025
|The Gazette
ANFERNEE Dijksteel has broken his silence two months after his Middlesbrough exit was confirmed, posting a goodbye message after his next move was confirmed.
-
The right-back has joined newly-promoted Turkish Super Lig side Kocaelispor on a two-year deal with the option of further 12 months on top. It follows his release from Boro this summer, six years after moving to the Riverside from Charlton Athletic. Dijksteel is said to have turned down Championship clubs to explore the interest in Turkey, with Boro confirming his release towards the end of May.
