Armed police drama linked to slash attack

A TEENAGER was arrested after police swooped on Hardwick as part of a Good Friday operation.
A large number of police vehicles were seen in the Hardwick area of Stockton and police have now confirmed it was part on an on-going investigation.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Officers were in the Hardwick area of Stockton earlier today (Friday) conducting arrest attempts as part of ongoing enquiries into a serious assault in Billingham on 11th April.
"A 17-year-old boy was arrested in that area (Hardwick) this morning in connection with a separate matter and will be questioned."
