£140m station redevelopment nears completion

NEW images show how Darlington Station is being transformed as a £140m redevelopment nears completion. The latest progress pictures show the scale of the project, with the development of a multi- storey car park, which will include parking for over 600 cars, including accessible parking bays and electric car charging points.

New signs have also been erected on the gateway building which will provide a modern entrance hall, featuring shops, linked to the existing station via a new footbridge.
