Police name woman who died in crash

An elderly woman who died in a horror van crash on the A75 has been named by police.

Judith Molloy lost her life following the accident at Auchenlarie near Gatehouse on Wednesday.

The crash, which happened at around 11.20am, involved a red Suzuki Ignis and a white Peugeot van.

Mrs Molloy, 76, was found injured in the Suzuki and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where she sadly died.
