Galloway Cheddar is set tackle food insecurity and isolation by donating the equivalent of 90,000 meals.
The Stranraer-based cheese brand has joined forces with food distribution charity FareShare to bring back its Galloway Gathering Project.
The scheme will see food trucks across Scotland cook up special cheesy dishes - using Galloway Cheddar - for one-off fundraising days, with customers offered the chance to donate directly to FareShare.
And new for this year is the Galloway Gathering Tour - a food and music roadshow which will visit rural towns and villages and engage communities through good food, live music and social interaction.
Marketing director at Lactalis UK and Ireland, Heloise Le Norcy-Trott, said: "The Galloway Gathering Project grows year on year because the need is greater than ever.
