Tourism activities resume in Southern Cebu after Typhoon Tino

Tourism activities in southern Cebu have gradually resumed, while some destinations remain closed, a day after Typhoon Tino struck Central Cebu on Tuesday morning, November 4.
In Oslob, the local government unit’s tourism office released an advisory announcing that all seawater-related activities and operations in Barangays Tanawan and Bangcogon have resumed on November 5 following improved weather conditions.
The LGU declared that it is now safe to restart operations such as whale shark watching and other coastal activities in the said areas, except for Tumalog Falls, which remains closed until further notice as authorities continue assessing the site to ensure it is safe for visitors.
