Cebu-based listed firm Top Line Business Corp remains committed to growing its fuel-distribution arm, Light Fuels, even as escalating tensions in the Middle East continue to jolt global oil markets.

Eugene Erik Lim, chairman, president and CEO of Top Line, confirmed that planned expansion projects would be unveiled this month.

“For Light Fuels, we’re ahead of our plans. We will be announcing projects by July. July is exciting,” Lim said in an interview.

In response to the turbulence in oil markets—with Brent crude currently trading at approximately US$82 per barrel, up from US$78 in late June—Top Line is prioritizing supply resilience.
