This multifaceted view towards beauty served as the glue that banded the art exhibit component of the “Go Slow, Go Local” event to form.

Presented by Tambuli Seaside Resort & Spa, the Cebu chapter of the Slow Food Community and a group of Cebuano artists in June, this show tapered its curatorial hems on the mission and vision of the international Slow Food community — that is, to prevent the disappearance of local food cultures and traditions by organizing events that counteract the rise of fast food culture.
