SSS, UnionBank partner for digital ID, payments

The Philippines' Social Security System (SSS) has partnered with Union Bank of the Philippines to launch the “MySSS Card,” a new two-in-one identification and payments solution aimed at improving access to government services and financial transactions.
The card, which functions both as an official SSS-issued ID and a UnionBank-powered Visa debit card, allows members to receive benefits, loans and refunds directly through a UnionBank savings account. It also enables cashless transactions worldwide, digital payments and mobile banking.
