SSS allays public concern over ARTA report

The Social Security System (SSS) sought to allay public concern after new data from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) listed the pension fund among the most complained-about government agencies from January to August 2025—an issue highlighted during Senate budget deliberations.

SSS President and CEO Robert Joseph Montes De Claro said in a statement that the institution is working closely with ARTA to validate the 244 complaints cited in the report, noting that the agency’s own monitoring shows a 99.3 percent resolution rate for referrals handled during the same period.
“From our end, all complaints coursed through ARTA were resolved within mandated timelines,” De Claro said.
