Public warned vs. bogus beauty clinics
July 23, 2025
|The Freeman
Following the report of an alleged illegal beauty clinic in Barangay Cogon Central Ramos, Cebu City, the Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7) warned the public against questionable and unauthorized medical establishments across the region.
It was previously reported that 11 staff members of a beauty clinic owned by a Vietnamese national were arrested in an entrapment operation last Saturday, July 19. The raid was launched after police authorities received a verified complaint that the said clinic allegedly performed unauthorized and ineffective procedures.
PRO-7 spokeswoman Police Colonel Arvie Bueno said that their office validated the complaint, citing concerns on public safety and health with the improperly-administered procedures and unregulated cosmetic medicines.
