PAL reopens aviation school with global partner

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to reopen its PAL Aviation School through a strategic partnership with global flight training leader Airways Aviation Group, reinforcing the airline’s long-term commitment to safety, operational excellence, and workforce development.
Under the agreement, Airways Aviation’s Australia-based training academy will serve as the official training provider for the airline’s cadet pilots.
The move comes after a comprehensive evaluation process in which the global aviation educator was selected for its strong track record in delivering internationally accredited, competency-based pilot training programs.
“Airways Aviation met our stringent requirements and demonstrated a deep commitment to safety culture and training excellence," said PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng.
“We see the value of in-house training in shaping future-ready pilots—professionals who combine technical expertise with a global mindset,” Ng added.
