His story traces back to 1919, when his grandfather, Sulpicio Go Guioe So, left China at just 13 years old and came to the Philippines in search of a better life. Starting as a copra trader, he eventually entered the shipping industry and founded Sulpicio Lines in 1973, building a company meant to serve both his family and the country.
