Mandaue City deploys more traffic enforcers

“All enlisted field personnel are deployed throughout the city, including four mobile assets,” Retuya said, noting that the increased movement of people and vehicles adds to the usual traffic volume on Mandaue City roads.

To address this, TEAM has assigned additional personnel along major thoroughfares and in areas near malls and shopping centers to ensure visibility and help manage traffic flow.

Retuya said the city has been experiencing congestion during morning and afternoon rush hours, with contributing factors such as ongoing road repairs in Barangays Tayud and Paknaan, as well as vehicle breakdowns and road accidents.

In response, TEAM has positioned personnel in affected areas to ease traffic and clear obstructions. Retuya said the agency also deploys towing resources to immediately remove stalled vehicles from major roads.
