LUCKY BLING
October 23, 2025
|The Freeman
"The best surprises don't wait in far-off places; they're hiding in yards, gardens, parks, even in the jumble of toys and galaxies at our feet.
This is how Cebu's Qube Gallery charged one of its most recent shows as - an exhibit that plates up what artists who turn "stumbling upon" into spaces of color, silence, play and delight are setting their creative viewfinders on.
Titled “Lucky Bling” and curated by JT Gonzales, the show brings the works of five artists whose creative oeuvres revel in the fantastical, but are grounded in questioning how spectacle and desire shape the precepts of individuality and identity.
