Let us march as one nation, one people!

Every Filipino is invited by Pablo Virgilio Cardinal “Ambo” David, Bishop of Kalookan and president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines, “to take an active part in safeguarding democracy, (as) the fight against corruption “belongs to everyone, not just a few.
”Cardinal Ambo called on every Filipino citizen 1) to “demand accountability from public officials, warning that corruption will continue unless those responsible are made answerable for their actions;” 2) to stay vigilant against a worsening culture of dishonesty in government which will not improve “if those who should be held accountable are not held to account,” 3) to tell the “officials who act like “parasitic worms” feeding on the nation’s lifeblood that “wrong is wrong,” 4) to denounce the persistent pork barrel pushed by “shameless politicians and that corruption “should never be normalized.”
Addressing leaders, this reminder from Cardinal Ambo “Do not destroy the trust of the nation. Let us not allow lies to prevail; only truth should reign.”
Together with other church leaders and lay convenors/partners, Cardinal Ambo enjoined all to participate in the Second “Trillion Peso March” (TPMM) on November 30, in coordination with other “protest actions set to take place nationwide—from EDSA’s People Power Monument to Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, and other cities.”
