We began the year that’s ending with the hope that it would be better than previous years, but the truth is that 2025 wasn’t easy for many of us.
-
Things didn’t look so good for those who wanted a measure of world peace. While it looks like the war in Gaza has come and gone, war continues in Europe with Russia still attacking Ukraine. There are also new flashpoints of conflict that threaten regional and global peace.
At our own doorstep, or more precisely in our surrounding territorial waters, we continued to face the bullying of a foreign power becoming more and more brazen, perhaps trying to pull us into a shooting war it knows we can never win.
