Frasco dangles P500K reward for info on flood control anomalies

The lawmaker stressed the need to uphold accountability and transparency, particularly in projects that directly affect the safety and welfare of communities.

"I will never tolerate any irregularities or substandard work, and I fully support efforts to uphold transparency and accountability in all government-funded projects," Frasco said in a statement on Friday.

Liloan, one of the towns under Frasco's jurisdiction, has been flagged by an anti-corruption watch group for hosting some of the most expensive flood control projects in the district.
The Cebu Citizen Anti-Corruption Watch (CCACW) reported that Liloan's flood control projects amount to P589 million in 2025 alone, averaging nearly P196 million per project.
