Construction of San Roque gym's 2nd floor kicks off

Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival is picking up where the past two administrations left off, leading the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of an additional second floor at Barangay San Roque's multipurpose gym over the weekend.

The upgraded facility, which will double as an evacuation center, is backed by nearly P28 million from the City's Local Development Fund for fiscal years 2022-2023, the City's PIO reported.
"This development is a big win for the community," Archival said during the unveiling of the project plan. "Not only will it remain a hub for sports and activities, but it will also serve as a safe refuge in times of calamities."
