Comelec to resume voters' registration on October 20

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is set to resume nationwide voter registration beginning October 20, 2025, with all types of applications accepted—including transfer of registration.
-
With this, voters who have moved residences or wish to vote in a different locality can now file for transfer, alongside new registration, reactivation, correction of entries, and reinstatement.
Registration will run until May 18, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Mondays through Saturdays.
However, for non-BARMM areas, registration will be suspended in November 1 in observance of the All-Saints Day, December 24 and 25 for Christmas, December 30 (Rizal Day), December 31,2025 (last day of the Year), January 1, 2026 (New Year’s Day), April 2 to 4 in line with the Holy week.
For provinces under the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), registration will take place from May 1 to 18, 2026, following the conclusion of the Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections.
