Cebu City has secured an immediate boost in healthcare with the promise of a thousand care cards, a commitment Mayor Nestor Archival said will soon provide direct relief to selected constituents once distribution begins.

Archival’s announcement came after the formal integration of Cebu Velez General Hospital into the Healthway system, a milestone that links one of Cebu’s most respected medical institutions to a national network known for its patient-centered approach.
The mayor underscored these care cards will ease the burden of ordinary Cebuanos seeking medical support, aligning with the city’s priority to make healthcare more inclusive.
The ceremony was attended by AC Health Chairman Fernando Zobel de Ayala, AC Health President and CEO Paolo Borromeo, Healthway Medical Network President Jaime Ysmael, and Chief Network and Business Development Officer Margaret Bengzon.
