PREP FOR GLOBAL CONFLICT IMPACT
CCCI President Regan Rex King said in a press conference that the organization is working on a joint manifesto that will be submitted to provincial and city governments, outlining proposed mitigation measures aimed at protecting both enterprises and consumers.

Business leaders in Cebu are moving to craft a unified policy response to the potential economic fallout from escalating global conflicts, as concerns mount over supply disruptions and rising fuel costs that could trigger an artificial spike in prices of basic commodities.
Newly installed Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) President Regan Rex King said in a press conference that the organization is working with other business chambers to draft a joint manifesto that will be submitted to provincial and city governments, outlining proposed mitigation measures aimed at protecting both enterprises and consumers.
The initiative comes as fuel prices have begun to trend upward amid geopolitical tensions, raising fears of a ripple effect across transport, logistics, and food supply chains in a province heavily dependent on imported goods.
