The province of Aklan, in partnership with publicly listed Topline Group and the Department of Tourism (DOT), has launched a fully automated port ticketing platform aimed at transforming the tourist experience at Boracay's main transport gateways.

The system, dubbed “LezzGo Boracay,” was developed by Topline HiTech and Synergy Corp., a technology subsidiary of the Topline Group. It automates the entire travel transaction process—combining ticketing, terminal and environmental fees, and passenger manifests into a single QR-coded platform.

The platform reduces pre-boarding wait times from 30 to 45 minutes to just 10 to 15 minutes, offering a more efficient and tourist-friendly entry into one of the country's most popular destinations.

"This is a milestone for Aklan and a reflection of our commitment to digitization, sustainability, and good governance," said Aklan Governor Jose Enrique “Joen” Miraflores at the launch held yesterday, August 5, 2025, at the Caticlan Jetty Port.

"With LezzGo, tourists no longer have to wait long or worry about manual processes. It's a world-class solution for a world-class destination," the governor added.

The initiative forms part of a broader effort by the provincial and municipal governments, in coordination with the DOT, to future-proof Boracay’s tourism infrastructure through smart, tech-driven public-private partnerships (PPPs).
