Zee loved Christmas more than anyone.
Not just the presents, but the twinkling lights, the carols, and especially the Christmas Lighting ceremony at the plaza.This year was extra special because Zee, a talented young dancer, was chosen to perform a special Spanish dance with her beloved teacher, Ms. Irene.
Ms. Irene was like a second mother to Zee. She had taught Zee every step, every twirl, and had always encouraged her to dance with her heart. Tonight, under the dazzling glow of the giant Christmas trees, they were going to perform together.
Under the bright Christmas lights, the two dancers wore colorful, detailed costumes perfect for their dance. Zee was dressed in a bright red dress with ruffles and a dark top with black and gold designs. She felt nervous but looked radiant, holding her black and gold fan tightly.
