A motorcycle driver lost his life after colliding with a Ford pickup on the flyover of Governor Cuenco Avenue near TESDA at around 3 a.m. yesterday, May 31, 2025.

The victim was identified as 31-year-old Daryl Curiba, a resident of Barangay Buhisan, Cebu City, who was driving a Yamaha Vega motorcycle.
The Ford pickup was occupied by a couple from Nasipit Road, Talamban, Cebu City. The driver is 48 years old, while the passenger, his wife, is 47.
According to the Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), the motorcycle was traveling along the flyover toward Barangay Luz, while the pickup was moving in the opposite direction toward Barangay Banilad.
Upon reaching a curved section of the road, the motorcycle reportedly veered off its lane, counterflowed into the opposite lane, and crashed into the front left portion of the pickup.
