One-month SIR operations begin
November 05, 2025
|The Free Press Journal
House-to-house enumeration kicks off across Kerala on 4 November under the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, marking the start of a one-month campaign that runs through 4 December, the state's Chief Electoral Officer, Rathan U. Kelkar, confirmed.
Each elector listed in the 2025 voter roll must sign and return a pre-populated enumeration form delivered by the Booth Level Officer. Voters unable to meet the officer in person may complete the form online. Officials emphasise that no supporting documents are required at this stage and that simply submitting a signed form renders an elector eligible for inclusion in the draft list.
