PCMC promises to fix potholes

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) on Friday promised to repair all remaining potholes in the city before Diwali, even as residents complained of slow traffic and safety risks.
According to PCMC data, 4,065 potholes developed during four and a half months of monsoon. Of these, 3,696 have been filled, while 582 remain. The corporation said these would be completed soon, as the rainfall has reduced.
