Passenger-goods train collide in C'garh, 8 killed, 14 injured

A passenger train collided with a goods train near Bilaspur station in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in at least eight fatalities and 14 injuries, according to railway officials.
The accident occurred around 4 pm when the MEMU (mainline electric multiple unit) passenger train, traveling from Gevra to Bilaspur, rammed into the goods train from behind while both were moving in the same direction between Gatora and Bilaspur stations.
