NCLT partly allows DoT’s plea for add'l claims against RCom

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench, has partly allowed an application filed by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) seeking admission of its additional claims against the corporate debtor Reliance Communications (RCom).

The tribunal directed the Resolution Professional (RP) to admit Rs 452.03 crore towards CAF penalties and Rs 741 crore towards EMR penalties, both of which were reflected as contingent liabil-

ities in the books of RCom on the insolvency commencement date.
