Half of PhD aspirants' emails fail to deliver

The Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education (TANSCHE) has discovered that almost half of the emails sent to doctoral researchers across the state failed to reach their recipients, revealing significant deficiencies in the higher-education data infrastructure.
According to officials, approximately 50 % of email attempts to about 32,000 PhD candidates enrolled in 13 state universities and their affiliated colleges were returned undelivered. They attributed this to outdated, inactive or incorrect email addresses supplied by universities.
