Case over alleged forged plaint, defamation of BJP leader

Crime branch police have registered an FIR against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Somnath Bharti following a complaint by BJP leader and Delhi MLA Satish Upadhyay, alleging forgery, circulation of fabricated documents and defamation through social media.
According to crime branch sources, the complaint was received by police commissioner’s office through an application submitted by a local resident on behalf of Satish Upadhyay. The complaint relates to a post shared on social media platform X from the handle in which Somnath Bha
