Police summon star cast for promotional video showing dangerous bike stunts on city streets
Just a day before its muchawaited release on October 31, the Gujarati film Misri has landed in controversy after a promotional stunt video went viral showing the star cast performing dangerous bike stunts on the busy streets of Ahmedabad.
The footage, widely shared on social media, sparked outrage among citizens and forced the police to initiate swift legal action.
The film’s promotional video features well-known actors Manasi Parekh and Tiku Talsania, along with other members of the team, riding bikes and performing stunts on the Science City Road, one of the city’s busiest stretches. Eyewitnesses and online viewers criticized the team for flouting traffic rules and setting a bad example in the name of promotion.
