Madras’ High Court's Madurai Bench has ruled that the Protection of hildren from Sexual ffences Act does not prohibit adults from filing complaints for offences that occurred while they were minors. Justice B. ugalendhi dismissed a ea to quash a POCSO case nd a related harassment ase filed by a woman aged 9, concerning an incident lleged to have occurred when she was 17.
