Vande Bharat sleeper for Kerala

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train will also be extended to Kerala as part of a broader plan to introduce overnight semi-high-speed services across all states, though no timeline has been announced for its launch in the state.-
Speaking about the nextphase of the Vande Bharat programme, the minister said the sleeper configuration is designed to cater to long-distance intercity travel, complementing the chair-car versions already operating on daytime routes.
