Tourist's video triggers action, arrests

Two officers from the Munnar police station have been placed under suspension after an investigation found that they failed to act properly in a harassment incident involving a woman tourist.District Police Chief K. M. Sabu Mathew ordered the suspension of Grade Sub- -Inspector George Kurian and Assistant Sub-Inspector Saju Paulose following a probe by the Special Branch and Intelligence Wing, which concluded there were lapses in how the case was handled.
