Thousands say no to Sunday leisure for ‘Run & Ride’ event

Leaving the Sunday cosiness, thousands of cyclists and athletes joined the ‘Sri Sathya Sai Run and Ride — Sundays on Cycle’ organised by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation (SSSSO) to commemorate the birth centenary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The SSSSO has also embarked on the Sri Sathya Sai Prema Pravahini, a nationwide Rath Yatra traversing across India.
Over 4,500 participants joined the event supported by the ministry of youth affairs and sports through the FiTIndia programme. They gathered near the Bandra Fort to join three categories for both running and cycling.
