L&T Q2 PAT jumps 16% to ₹3,926 cr

The $ 30 billion Indian multinational Larsen & Toubro on Wednesday reported a 16% jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 3,926 crore during the second quarter of FY26.

The infrastructure major as secured orders worth Rs 210,237 crore registering y/y growth of 39% for the halfyear ended September 30, 2025. During the half-year, big-ticket order wins were in public spaces, commercial buildings, metro, hydel and tunnel, transmission and distribution, renewables, nonerrous metals, thermal BTG, and offshore and onshore businesses in the hydrocarbon sector. International orders at Rs 124,236 crore during the half-year constituted 59% of the total.

The company achieved consolidated revenues of Rs 131,662 crore recording a y/y growth of 13% on a half-year basis. International revenues during the half-year at Rs 71,217 crore constituted 54% of the total revenue.
